Looking @ Purchasing a Relay and have kind of accepted the fact the Fazua motor may have issues. My next concern is battery charging. Looking @ my current bike the down tube always has either a layer of dirt so every battery removal will require some amount of cleaning. Now my real concern is wear and tear on the battery mount & connection - am I overthinking this? I read somewhere it is a flimsy setup. My buddies emtb has a rubber plugged charge port that is easy peasy.

Ya dont sweat it, Im pulled out the battery about 100+ times to charge and its about the same as it was from day 1

The battery on the other hand, looks like its been through a war zone

Do you have a carbon or alloy? Any comments on the Fazua 60?

Carbon and yes lots of comments

2500kms & 3 issues so far;
1) Ring Controller started acting funny and was replaced under warranty
2) Motor mounts started to creak, did the green loctite fix
3) Chased a front end creak with foam, foam tubing and Scrub Daddy wash pads...turned out to be a creaking CSU on the FOX 38..so not really Fazua related
