Fazua app wont connect to bike,?

Well after far too may hrs of @#£%£@£@#£££@ Bas£%#£@##£ bike app

I've given up

My bike won't connect to the app
Things I've tried..
Delete app
Try new app
Delete Bluetooth
Reconnect loads of times.

Tried reboot phone
Tried on wife's phone
Logged in and out many times

This is a 2025 bike 5 weeks old
Firmware is upto date apparently
Connection made with cable but won't Bluetooth
But that's only an odd time.
Tried the battery reboot..

Apparently I can check and update Firmware by phone..er no I can't so again wtf.

Anyone any clue or is this a take to shop?

Have you checked the app has its permissions set up correctly (if Android they will be in the phones settings>apps>permissions), to allow connection?

Bike does connect with cable and worked fine until yesterday
I've tried 2 phones ,same problem
Just says Offline

I think I need to contact support then after reading the trouble shoot
As I've tried all of the fixes

And I can't contact Fazua as the email form requires a report printout

Too be honest, if the bike rides ok, don't worry about the updates. I've ignored the Giant app for one of our bikes because of all the anecdotes about bikes or batteries being bricked by bad firmware updates.

You might be right..I'm not a tec person and as usual everything is just a bloody nightmare with everything App and genera IT problems.

In saying that the app worked fine until yesterday and I did change ride settings and logged my ride without any issues..
I've emailed the support at the bike supplier just to cover all my options.

I can't even connect my Sigma Rox bar computer to the bike so I think it's a fazua problem and not my phone or app ..we'll see

Just to keep this going..I hate being beaten

Bike shop have said its most likely a bug.

So I need a laptop and the the fazua toolbox to update and clear whatever this is..
Not had a laptop for 15yr

Delete app and re install

All back on..what a palaver

All sorted after firmware update and app deleted, reinstalled

Absolutely nothing again..bike is invisible to Bluetooth..

Just to finish this thread off

Whe I came back to bike the next day I had same issue

However after doing a bit more searching on fazua it turns out the bike can only have One Bluetooth device paired on the phone.

So my bar computer has to run on the Sigma Rox app and can't run with the bike and fazua app at the same time.

My fazua app works perfectly now after removing the Sigma Rox .

Hopefully that will help others who find themselves damaging a perfectly good wall with their heads in future
