Hello community:)

I'm new to the embike world and I found this Second-hand bike in a shop and would like to ask you if you think it's a good deal for 6000€?

Pivot Shuttle AM: Pivot Cycles
  • Motor: Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 (not gen 5)
  • 450 km of use (it's almost new)
  • 85 Nm of torque (doesn’t go up to 100 Nm with the update because it’s Gen 4)
  • Battery: 750Wh
  • Electronic drivetrain: SRAM X0
  • 2-year warranty, including the motor
  • All components are top of the line, and it's being sold fully refurbished, like new
  • €6,000

This is a top-of-the-line American model that costs around €10–12k new.

It seems like a good deal to me, if I want a high-end model! I'm looking for a solid bike more suited for long rides, rather than a pure enduro race bike.

Thank you advance

You might be surprised at how well the AM handles the rugged stuff. The price is good. You might want to think about how long it might be until the next model hits the showroom floors. But does it even matter, considering how expensive the new models will be?
