EMTB with more than 750 watt motor?

I live in a very mountainous and rural area in the U.S.. Is there a decent EMTB available that doesn't weigh 85lbs and doesn’t have a throttle but does have more than 750 watts and 85Nm of torque?

Here is all motors that have over 100 nm and over 750 peakpower. So find a bike with one of these motors.

Dji , bosh 5 , brose 3.1 .

I would say that the Bosch 5 motor is a safe bet, as Bosch motors are quite reliable and durable if you want a motor that just works without any hassle.

The dji motor has the most power of all of the motors but its a pretty new motor , but I havent really read any bad about it .

Bosch does not have more than 750

Only the other two. DJI has no long term record but early reports show very few comebacks on low mile units

The brose has had issues with bike loosing power on the ride, due to a battery tray not aligned properly.

I chose DJI

I thought DJI was not being imported to the US. Any suggestions on who might be using them?

Avinox will become it's own entity. Amflow dealers are being established as we speak. Forbidden and crestline will be dropping their avinox bikes very soon
 
I looked up Amflo and no US shops were listed. I will try bike barn.

You have to look for ready-made bikes with this engine on Alibaba, it will weigh at least around 30 kg probably. The M620 motor alone weighs 6.7 kg, according to the manufacturer, and the battery is around 4.5 kg, that's why I chose to make a bicycle with an engine M650 motor and I want the bike to weigh a maximum of 25 kg.

I would totally disagree. Sure the 100nm is grunty. But power comes on smooth and you can easily de tune it.

Also op wants more power that what im suggesting.

Have you ridden the new firmware with EMTB+ ? It is anything but smooth. My mate pushed down on the pedal and the bike shot off, then continued to over-run. The bike got completely away from him. He could only hang on with one handlebar grip as the bike tried to do circles around him. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway. Maybe it's particular to his motor. But I wouldn't be telling a 79yo to use EMTB+ mode, when I've seen it behave so badly.

He needs to learn how to set it up.

You just use the Flow App to dial back the Dynamic setting.

If it’s really doing donuts around him, it’s broken.

My Rocky Mountain I believe is 104 Nm with a 750kw battery and you can expand it with an add-on if you want. Lots of power and all depending on how you ride it the battery seems to last a long time.
 
Your best bet honestly if you want lots of power and not a ton of weight is something with a 750w Bafang M560. The E82 frame uses a massive 1008Wh battery to go with it. You can build a bike for around 54-56lbs or so all together and the throttle is completely optional. You’d have 150Nm and 1200W peak power.

The M620 weighs a ton, tough to build a bike under 60lbs with that thing.

Yes, I own a gen 5 Bosch bike. Spent 4 hours on the new update so far.

Of course he could always use emtb mode with 100nm power swtting if he didn't like the run on feature of emtb+.

Non the less my main point was I dont think op needs a more powerful bike than 750w/100nm.

As I posted above. He was using Race Mode, not EMBT+.

Totally agree. I’m almost 74 with 60% lungs capacity for my age. I brought my Cube with the Bosch CX gen 4 last year. I rarely use full power. On really steep & rocky sure. When using turbo mode t’s pretty easy for the rear wheel to slip going up steep sections. Anyways I’ve never wished I had more power. I tend use lower assists to keep my HR in a specific zone & fitness. When riding with my non-assisted buddy I’ll up the assist to keep up and not be so tired. I’d personally should rent and see for yourself. Plus if your just, now switching to emtb your probably in decent condition. I believe get a gen 5 Bosch and you’ll be a happy camper.
