As I said, I have the same issue and I’ve tightened the battery mount, and I’ve also now tried installing a Cascade Power Tube Latch, but the same issue persists

I’ll return the bike at Friday. They confirmed all full refund after 16 months I have the bike

Yeah, take special attention to how the battery plug mounts. It could be a Canyon issue were rhe mounting is slightly off causing a poor connection. Note that poor battery connections typically presents once there is a bit of heat and drain on the battery thus pulling the current draw up. Fresh charged up battery.... no problems, partially flat/hot battery and boom... motor cut out and all sorts of electrical shenanigans.

Good to hear a good outcome. Canyon had massive issues with the Striveon.

I regarding the batteries, I have already the 3rd pair of latches on them because even if you get the version 2, at a certain point they have play, I also have a 3d printed part in this latches that are reinforces the construction... also I´m using cable straps at the bottom latch holder to...

I have also submitted a request for a full refund for my bike and am just waiting for Canyon to approve it.

The sad part is that Canyon will probably inspect the bike and not find any issues since there are no error codes when they receive it.

Then they’ll put the bike in the outlet section, and someone else will buy it and have to deal with the same headache we've had.

All the electrical system are designed totally wrong on the bike. I can confirm that 100%. It’s a design fault from the person behind the computer.

Canyon accepted the bike back and a full refund. Will turn in the bike on Friday to them.
