Unno Mith released with DJI motor, 800Wh battery

Has anyone here still got a June delivery as from what I've heard elsewhere June orders seem to have been pushed back till August which I presume means all others will be shifted back

I have a June delivery but not been told of any delay………….yet!

Do we know why?

I wish this was coming to the US this year, I am taking either an Amflow of Forbidden, whichever is available first gets my money.
Me too. Do we expect the amflow this year?

Given the choice I’d go for the Unno though.

I think they are very different bikes.

There was a beefed up Amflow @ Megavolt (38mm Fork, coil shock), which looked good, but it is still more of a trail bike, vs a full on enduro…

I was going to go Amflow, but realized I was doing it for the motor, not the bike.

I’ve been told my bikes being built week 24 so can expect delivery week 25 (Mith Race S2). Had an email from the factory today regarding VAT and import duty. Looks like everything is on track. To be honest the communication from them has been pretty good so far. 🤞 all goes to plan.

Interesting as the delays I've heard about seem to be via UK dealers not direct from Unno. Will yours be the same price as the website RRP with VAT and import duties @E_S_Blofeld ?

Yes, I’ve had it confirmed today, the price on the website includes VAT but NOT import duty at 6%. I must admit I'm very disappointed the import duty was not included in the cost when ordering, or even clearly stated on the website that it would be charged on delivery. To be asked for an additional £480 at the last minute is very dissapointing, and gives the impression they perhaps cocked up their numbers.

Their email stated:
" We would like to inform you about a temporary update to our shipping terms for orders destined for the UK

What This Means for You:

  1. VAT Refund:
We will refund the VAT included in your invoice. To facilitate this, please reply to this email with your bank details so we can process an international bank transfer.
  2. VAT Payment Upon Delivery:
VAT will need to be paid directly to the freight forwarder prior to delivery. Our freight forwarder will contact you with the necessary details and amounts.
  3. Customs Duty:
A 6% customs duty will apply upon importation and will need to be paid directly to the freight forwarder prior to delivery. This cost has already been considered in the UK retail price. Any questions regarding this just reach out.”
Hope the above helps others.

I wrote directly to Unno last week, but they answered that only the dealer know my order number and can answer my question about the delay...

Yes I have heard similar from others - their PR doesn't seem to match what's actually happening for real customers  I'm sure everyone would appreciate honesty and being treated like adults which I have to say makes me a little worried for customer service down the line

There is a week old video on YT, where they are talking about the production of the mith. It is in spasnish.
At what I can understand is, that they are building around 30 to 40 bikes per week, but it seems as there are some delivery issues of the motor unit.

Unno just replied to a comment I posted asking about delays on their Instagram saying...

"We have not changed any estimated delivery times. Please contact us through the website contact form or your dealer for any assistance needed."

Well... my dates: order in April from an official Italian dealer, expected delivery (written) July, currently expected delivery September

They replied to me again on Instagram here so get involved direct if you want:.

"From our side the June, Aug, Sep and Oct batches have the same estimations as of today, delivery times will depend on when your local dealer confirmed their pre-order on bikes."

Maybe some dealers have taken pre orders but didn't confirm things? Also, I think I found the video @silverstone was on about here where Cesar talks about the DJI motors having been delayed due to custom firmware not being ready.

I was told September for my S3 Race so hopefully my dealer did everything correctly.

Hey @Cosmik @Letford Unno said the following on Instagram so would be interesting to see what they say if you email them (y)

"Thank you for this info. Please email direct to [email protected] so we can understand the situation better and from what dealer you have your orders. :) Thanks"
Thanks fella, I've sent them an email be interesting to see what they say.

How so ? Tarrifs only affect products that the US imports not on products that they sell abroad. The only impact on the price will be the tarrif applied by the importing government.

Well unless there are reciprocal tariffs. There is also the issue of decency and respect, and those qualities lacking in current American executive leadership being a turn off to foreign buyers.

I disagree,The US has been taken advantage of for far too long, you only need to look at the tariffs imposed by the EU (only one example) on US goods. The US and President Trump, are doing nothing more than returning the favour.
However this is getting too political ,so I will leave it at that with no hard feelings Suns.

@GeordieKenevo They answer now "
We would like to clarify that any perceived delays may stem from a misunderstanding. As the manufacturer, we provide estimated production and shipment timelines, indicating when a bike is shipped from our headquarters in Barcelona. However, the exact delivery date to your dealer's location depends on various factors, including the shipping and importation process, which are beyond our direct control.

We are sorry to hear that a potential miscommunication may have led you to expect a specific delivery date. "

So it seems that I misunderstand what their reseller perfectly wrote to me... 😤

That shoulds like they are trying to backtrack a little to me but all I can go on is the September delivery my dealer told me and then judge.

I'm interested in buying one of these in the UK

Are there any dealers which have physical bikes to demo or at the very least sit on?

I ask as i'm inbetween sizes (185cm with long arms), i'm leaning toward S3.

Any recommendations on who to order with so I can avoid the above issues around slipping delivery dates?

All sold out until 2026 so unlikely there will be any demo bike available unless shop owners bought one which I suppose is quite likely.
