UPDATED : All works Fine❗️✌️👌 Finally App AVINOX RIDE on the 🇫🇷 Store, both iPhone and bike updated 📲🚵🏽‍♀️ no need to pair again 😅

I have just deleted the app and then re-installed it via the Apple App Store, now when I try to login it comes up with

“No network. Check network connection” My networkt is working fine for everything else and it seems to happen because I use a VPN. The app won’t even let you log into the app if using a VPN, when I disconnect the VPN it lets me log into the app but still will not pair with the bike.

There are good reasons to use a VPN, apart from the geo location why would Avinox want to restrict you using one, it’s not like they are illegal to use and why now can’t I even pair the bike.

Come on Avinox, you have gone from having a great user interface and app to a disaster.

Can you please assist.

Probably part of the problem I'm having. Being a work supplied phone. It most likely runs a VPN. The App, Phone and bike worked perfectly till this update. Now I cannot connect.

I don’t have a bike yet to attempt to pair to, but I downloaded the app and was able to log in while on a VPN.

I hope some more people test this app and confirm before I have to decide if I am going to cancel my order for the bike. If it’s going to be like this with app drama and the VPN thing being patched, it’s not a bike I want for the price anymore.

I think that if you do not have the Avinox App. Avinox Ride does appear in your Google or Apple Store. But if you do already have the Avinox App. It doesn't seem to appear in the Stores, and you upgrade by opening the existing Avinox App on your phone. Which is then forcing you to download a file that you must run to install Avinox Ride.

It appears to me the biggest problem is pairing after the new App installs. The App looks like it's checking some phone settings before allowing pairing. The problem arises that we don't seem to know what is stopping the pairing.

Anyway. I spoke to the LBS who gave me my pin. So at this stage I'm hoping DJI fix this pairing issue, because it all worked perfectly on my existing phone before the update. Meanwhile I'll survive without access to my phone. It will be annoying if I have to get a new phone, just so I can use the Avinox Ride App. It means I'll need to carry 2 phones.

I guess this is the downside to having all the technology linked through the web. Though, I really do think this could have been handled better.

In my case, I had the original installed already and just opened my Apple Store to search and install the new app.

Definitely could have been handled better. Forcing you to just change apps like that seems crazy to me.

That's not how the app stores work, you will always see everything on the store regardless of what you have installed. The Amflow website points you to the Apple store for IOS but a link to side load for android, where previously it was a android app store link with the old app. For some reason they cannot publish the ride app on Google play store.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Based on your description, the pop-up "No network. Check network connection" appears after reinstalling the app from the app store. In that case, it is recommended to restart your phone and check the internet access of the app from the settings. The detailed path for the latest iOS system is: Settings --> scroll down the page all the way to the end and find apps --> find Avinox Ride --> check if cellular data or WLAN is enabled for the app. We would like to help you further; if it does not change anything, please send an email to [email protected].

HI. I have downloaded the new app as requested and now nothing works.

Bluetooth will not connect for long, pairing constantly fails, it keeps telling me there is no connection. I have tried with a VPN and without, it still doesn’t work.

I would advise that no one downloads the new app until it is fixed.

Any suggestions Amflow support?

I have done that and cellular data is enabled. It seems the problem is the Bluetooth, I have “forgotten” the device and enabled it countless times, the Bluetooth will not stay connected and the phone will not pair.

This is getting frustrating, I have emailed your support email but no one has replied.

I had the same problem with not being able to re pair Bluetooth, I needed to power cycle the bike then it paired fine.

If it helps, I downloaded and migrated over and logged in without as much as a hiccup. Worked perfectly. As you don't have the bike yet, you'll just be downloading and pairing with the new app.

Not to downplay those having issues - there clearly are some troubling reports here. But I have faith DJI will be hard at work pushing updates to iron out the kinks.

For those having issues, I would strongly suggest emailing [email protected] - they are better positioned to look into the logs from your App and bike to properly diagnose any fix.

I’m not worried and happy to wait but this latest update has not shown up in the UK Apple App Store for me yet.
Hopefully, by the time it does, most bugs will be ironed out.

I'm in the UK and it's on my App Store - I'm on a iPhone 15 Pro, so not the latest but one of the more recent models.

What was your trick Phil_13fr? Does the phone need to be connected to the VPN at all stages?
I updated the bike under the VPN as a precaution in case it asks me to pair again, but it was not necessary, there was no re-pairing, and all my settings were kept as well as all my journey history.

why would Avinox want to restrict you using one

So……my mistake; I was looking for an App update and obviously it’s a whole new App.

Not to worry, all updated via VPN and it went without a hitch.

Today I updated via Android, downloaded the app from DJI. Everything ok. The bike did not need to be unpaired.

Well it finally paired, don’t know why it just worked after countless tries. I noticed there was an update I had to install which included “various bug fixes” so who knows…..

It appears using a VPN has been curtailed as I couldn’t even install the update while configured to a VPN. Hopefully someone works that out.

For now its all good, (VPN excluded)

Update went ok . Ako môžem použiť ladenie v reálnom čase súčasne s ovládaním Osmo action 5?

Seems you can still ride in New Zealand with the new update. (y)

I’ve had no issues changing to the new app on ios. It looks identical to the old app so I can’t see why. On the plus side, I can still ride unrestricted………on private land of course.
