Hi from Scania in the S of Sweden. I happily ride an e5 creo 1.1. Recently did the Kattegatt path from Gothenburg to Helsingborg with 2 nights snoring in a hammock. Great ride.
AI told me that someone here, also from Scania/Skåne is running a 480wh volabike extender on a specialized bike. Would love to get some feedback.
As I am looking for alternatives for more juice for upcoming overnight rides “beyond civilization” 🙂

How's the rock gardens?
Don’t quite understand.
I’ve mostly done tarmac. A bit of gravel and some one track. Just briefly between trees and such.
Will do a 570km gravel and one track loop as soon as my camping buddy gets a few days off from flying

This is the problem..😁

What about the drop offs and steps leading into the blind jumps?
Perhaps that is a problem for you.
Certainly is none for me.
Irritants are mosquitoes and smashed.
Laying down in my hammock.

To be honest you can hardly walk over what I ride so the road bike you have isn't going to be much use to you.

You could however rent a mountain bike...

On the mountain biking trails with a mountain bike.....
somehow I doubt it
Those who do and can, regardless of what, are usually humble and generous and never degrading and only combative when it counts.
You on the other hand …

Thanks 🙂 nice bike w cool wheels.
Other mods?
I hope to do more bike packing with mine so I just got a quick rack n some panniers for it. There is a 580 gravel route that is beckoning
Bought second hand, the only mods so far are 40mm tyres to replace the 28mm fitted , and fitted remote mode changing buttons. I might get the range extender as the most distance i have done so far is 90km with 1500m ascent, there are a lot of hills here!

Also got mine second hand. With less then 500km. Mine had 42mm pathfinders on it since new.
I rathet like them. Yes, it would be nice with the remote buttons 👍
I’ve been looking at the volabike extenders…
