I thought this might be useful to Amflow to help shape their V2 offering, which is no doubt in the works.

We can document all the things that could be improved or that we flat out don't like about our current product.

To be clear, this is coming from a desire to help improve the product even further - it's an amazing bike I'm enjoying immensely.

Here is my list:

  1. Rear tyre - this should have a stronger carcas. It's possible the new 60 TPI Exo+ on a DHRII is enough, but the current rear tyre is too weak. When you get the pressures low enough to grip you can feel the tyre struggling to keep shape over small drops and jumps.
  2. Front tyre - make it a MaxxGrip please! Exo+ Assegai is otherwise great.
  3. Shock - I think it needs a Float X with Performance damper in it. I can't seem to really dial the Float shock in - it's either too stiff and not really working, or too plush and blowing through the travel (and then sitting at the harsher low end) - i'm not sure if it's the bike or the shock, but all I know is I had a DPX2 on my previous bike and it was set and forget, easiest thing to setup ever.
  4. Frame colours - more colours please! And matte colours. Make matte black available across the range. The only difference between PL Carbon and PL Carbon Pro is the build kit (which is great, don't do an S-Works!) - so you may as well make the colours available to all anyway.
  5. Frameset availability - this would be dope, makes it more sustainable to buy the next revision if we can just buy a frameset rather than complete bike.
  6. Factory invisiframe - you'd only have to do the downtube really, but just some extra protection at key areas so a buyer doesn't have to fanny around with applying their own invisiframe would be great.

Removable battery is a must for me. On weekends away most places aren't keen on having dirty bikes being dragged into bedrooms.

Better stem, maybe me but to stop it slipping I had to over tighten it. Ended up with an after market one, much better

Support for Garmin watchs and GPS devices

Include tubeless valves to fit the rims and as said above: add Garmin device support.
Meh, I got some tubeless valves in gold colour to match the rest of the bike for next to nothing. Looks great :) But a definite +1 for the Garmin support.
