Seems a little premature. I''d hope to get a few more miles out of a motor. No bike shop to give you a hand? Sometimes they have a little more leverage than you and I. Good luck with it.

Well im not looking to get rid of it at all I love the bike, but I ride every day almost so its kinda therapy. Im keeping it ! But having it go out on me amped up my gas and i talked myself into i NEED a spare... Luckily Im in a position to get one... Incoming 2025 Bullit should have it within a day or two! Insane but should be fun. and a good spread between the travel and power between the two. Working with Fazua on motor repair or replacement but no decision yet

My recent dealings with Fazua Tech Support (which oddly is contracted out in the US to Quality Bike Products) was nothing but positive. I made a phone call, sent proof of purchase, and in 3 days received a new LED Hub and that fixed my problems. All free of charge. Beyond happy with them.

On that note, I was directed to the Fazua website to find a local dealer to take the bike to first. I called 5 shops within 2 hours from me and several don't even work on ebikes or have never worked on a Fazua bike. I talked to one that seemed confident he could fix it. They were an hour away. I dropped the bike off. He called me the next day saying that he could not figure it out and couldn't get any help from Fazua. I picked up the bike and called Fazua the next day and received a the part needed within 3 days. I should have just called them first.

They were a little hesitant to send parts to end users and not a shop but by talking to them on the phone he said I "seemed competent". lol

if this is the same when they chose their engineers?
That is funny. I’ve looking at the new YT with the fazua. Ive heard that same comment oddly enough. “ not so confident in the competency of the engineers.”
So, I think I will stay with the bigger battery and motor. I’ve got several thousand miles off every motor Ive had.

I've read so many awful things about Fazua motors that it recently prevented me from buying 3 different bikes with that motor - Transition Relay, Pivot Shuttle SL, and Santa Cruz Heckler SL. I would have happily bought any one of those bikes but for the Fazua motor. Hopefully, the manufacturers will move on to DJI or something else.

When it works I really like it. Mine was a leftover 2023 I think. Hoping the newer motors have some of these issues sorted. I love the bike

New motor will be here in a couple of days and im doing 200 hr service on the fork and installing some Hayes Dominion A4 while i wait

Had my bike back for a bit and the new motor seems fine. Love the bike. Have a new Bullit as well now lol. Opposite ends of the spectrum kinda I like both
