Just a heads up for owners of the early editions of the Rise H series models to keep an eye on the bridge that ties the chainstays together. Myself and two friends all purchased H30's when they were released and all three of us have had the same failure, a crack at one of the weep holes. Orbea is addressing the issue though not even handedly, one buddy received a new frame ( no motor ) while the other two of us are being sent new rear triangles. Turn the bike over and remove the rear tire to inspect, I suspect they are going to see a lot of these.

Checked my 2022 H30 and it seems ok, though I'm not jumping or riding hard around berms, etc. and it's only done ~400km's.

What frame color received a new frame, and which colors received new rear triangle?
First guy in my crew with a blue and grey frame received a new frame. Seocnd guy with the same frame and myself with an orange and black frame received just a rear triangle. No explanation from Orbea as to the unequal treatment.

I've got the grey metallic stock H, so Hopefully I'll get a new frame...I'd take a Mulberry LOL

Looks like it's my turn!

It'll be 3 years old this July... Done about 3k miles. What do we reckon on warranty?

It looks like the others caught it early, you didn't until it was a lot worse!
I remembered this thread and checked it last time I did the bearings and it was fine. Not sure how long ago that was though. Less than a year 😬

To be honest, I think it looks worse in the picture than it does in real life.

It's still 4 cracks in my chainstay though 😂

Orbea don't seems to list it as a spare so I'm guessing it dealer only. If they won't warranty it, I hope that at least lube me up before they shove the bill up my arse.

I've emailed the shop I bought it from so fingers crossed. He's been super helpful in the past and helped me out massively with a couple of problems. I reckon he's probably fed up with now though.

And you now have evidence that it is a common fault.

When servicing my 2022 Rise H30 my LBS discovered a crack in the chainstay where the gear cable enters. Orbea agreed to warranty replace but said they could only send me a black chainstay and not the grey/blue that matches my bike. They said it was sent to LBS on 8th April but admitted on 30th April they had not sent it. They say its on its way now but at time of writing it still hasn’t been received at LBS.

Im far from happy with Orbea. It was bad enough only offering a mismatched colour replacement chainstay but I consider it totally unacceptable to mislead me regarding the dispatch of the item. I waited weeks for an item that hadnt actually been shipped.

Orbea say they will learn and improve future customer interaction.

But that doesn’t actually do anything for me.

The replacement chainstay arrived and has been fitted and in all fairness it looks well. Does not really clash at all.

Start Fitness handled the warranty and handled it exceptionally well.

So with all new bearings, bike serviced, a new chainstay, fork and shock serviced, motor serviced, and a new range extender acquired, Im ready to hopefully clock up another few K mikes!

They must have done a production run recently!

Mine arrived at the shop earlier this week. Picked it up today.

The bridge is a slightly different shape on the new one. More wedge shaped than the old one and only has one drain hole in it. The drain hole where the cracks started on mine is not on the new chainstay so hopefully, they've redesigned it to get away from them cracking.

I've had quite a few problems with this bike now. As annoying as that is, Orbea have stuck by their product and the warranty support has been great.

Not the quickest... But definitely reassuring.

Hey man, just wondering whether your new chainstay is OK?

I'm pretty sure mines bent. The rear axle/dropouts/pivot has always been a bit fiddly to align but this one is waaay off.
