The battery is new, as is the whole system. After a great test ride yesterday, I came home and could not get the system to turn on. let me go back. the bike is one of the new lightcarbon gravel ebikes which is a great frameset. Motor M820, battery Bt f100, display DP C030. This was my second ride of about 20 miles. When I dropped the motor to check all connections I found the little yellow xt30 connector was broke where the wire attaches, so just laying there. Might have been broke when I pushed the engine and wiring into the bike during assembly. I attached a new plug and still no go. I tried to charge the battery and only got a green light (full charge) which cannot be correct. Put a volt meter on the yellow plug and it reads 2 volts. I feel confident I screwed something up, I just don't know what. This is my first experience with Bafang as my other 2 ebikes are shimano.

Hey Michael, were you able to resolve the issue? Also, is there anything you could say about the gravel frame, especially the microsuspension? Does it really work, can you feel it? I am thinking about ordering one but was not able to find any reviews from anyone who bought it. Thx!

Still trying to resolve the problem. Jim Lee has been working with me to find a solution. Can't say enough good about him.
As for the frame, it is very well done. The suspension just takes the edge off that jarring you get from a rigid frame. As I only got a couple rides in, I can only give first impressions. It handles quick and yet is stable when you are accelerating. One of my other ebikes is a BMC Alpenchallenge AMP which is full carbon with a similar rear suspension. The LC feels more stable at speed. On a personal note, I ordered another fork for it without the fin. Same fork, no fin. If you want to change brake pads on my shimano brakes, you must remove the caliper. Perhaps ordering with the other fork may be an option. I will offer more info when the battery issue is solved.

Got it, thanks a lot! I'd really appreciate if you share more once the issue is resolved. Good luck!

Any news with the bike? Would love to see some photos as well! Is there any drag with the motor when not using assist?

Thinking of ordering one myself but haven't heard back from light carbon to my emails. Would love to hear more before ordering if you have anything you can share!
