Ready for sub-120cm jumps! Warranty definitely not voided...

So weight wise the build above is 24.6kg with 400g pedals and ~300g of bottle holder+pump+multi tool. So just under 24kg with the 800wh and DH level tyres front and back.

I have the 600Wh battery en route, I'll report back whether knocking another kg off makes any noticeable difference in trail.

hmmm the SRAM AXS specifically says to not chose 2-3-all gear skip on holding the button for EMTB's...
anyone knows the reasoning of that?

Also, i confirm that tubeless tape is placed inside the rims and is ready for sealant

Best reviews you will find are there I think. Found some posts on a deutsch forums, some videos on YouTube in Italian and deutsch too but that's it.

I have it, it seems to be a good bike and for sure I am not disappointed at the moment. Already beat my best time on my favorite trail by 4 seconds even though I need to adjust the rear brakes and go tubeless to lower the pressures and have more front grip. Comparing times with a not-electric giant reign 29. Yet I need to go test it in my very steep rocky trails, those trails you can only go with (almost) full rear brakes and pray for everything to go well ahah

On my previous AT, i used 2x Nobby Nic's and they were OK'ish...
BB/MM combo is grippy but high rolling resistance...
I'm riding in Belgium, normal trails here, not too crazy decents
Was thinking of getting Tacky Chan's or something similar.

What tyres came stock with yours?

My one77 slx came with magic mary + tacky chan combo both in soft, really good choice out of the box.

I am running what was mounted on my DT wheels: a conti Kryptotal front (enduro soft) and an Albert Radial rear (super gravity soft). The kryptotal front has been great, works pretty much everywhere all the time, has barely any wear after a full year of riding! Albert radial I am less sure about, I don't have any major issue with it, but it didn't blow my mind like some of the reviews make out, it has worn quite a lot, but 6 months for a rear tyre is pretty good.

I had a bad experience with kryptotal out back a year ago, managed to get it warrantied, but it will probably be my next purchase. Tried a vittoria mazza, rode well but broke my rim with it and held a grudge against the tyre It couldn't possibly have been my terrible choice to huck into a rock garden in finale ligure!

First ride was nice, it seems to feel a bit stiffer than the previous gen, allthough i didn't really go full on as it was my first ride
Gen5 noise level is OK, a bit down from Gen4, less whiny, performance wise seems to be the same.
Fork is renewed and has different adjustments, seems no lock is present in the front shock anaymore. have to figure out how that works...

My patience is again tested. I've ordered my ONE77 in november, but now it was delivered to the local bikeshop.....damaged chainstay and seatstay on transport!!! I have to wait for a new rear triangle.

Next week I will install a Fast SC5 cartridge (I have already a Vorsprung Luftkappe) on the Zeb (190mm) and the definitive stem, RF turbine or Hope in red colour (probably 40mm)

345mm BB Height with less slack fork position and other changes, but it seems like a lot more clearance than my last 2023 E-Reign with 340mm BBH, don't know why...

Acros responded to me:

if your bike is equipped with internal cable routing, the angle cups must be installed with the notches facing in the opposite direction. Only if your bike is equipped without integrated cable routing they must be installed with the markings in the same direction.

On Android I use an app called "bubble level", I find it to be surprisingly accurate for head angle measurements. You need the floor to be level and same width tyres.

I need to remove the fork from mine to take it in for maintenance; should I be careful about anything in particular given the cable routing in the headset? Better to use duct tape to hold everything together as recommended?

By the way....had a nasty creak today. Turned out to be the bolt of the Clavis attachement on the shock. It was not on 14nm.

After 5 rides I can say that the bike is amazing, it feels very light, more than its weight, it is very reactive, the geometry after moving the fork to 190mm and the geometry in the less slack position is perfect. Love it.

What I liked least is that the lower engine cover is of very poor quality and is held in place very precariously. I think we'll break and replace many of them.

Today I will install the Fast cartridge, and then a carbon rim set wheels.

True. But the cover costs about 10€, even if it breaks it is not a big deal... and at least it comes off easily in case there is mud or dirt to clean up

I noticed that the Clavis joint at the shock was not up to 14nm. After I torqued it the creaking vanished on the street. But hitting the forest brought it back again. Any creaking with you guys, just after buying?? The LBS said it would be ready this saturday.

I checked all nuts and bolts, including the joints mentioned. No, they weren’t tightened to 14Nm. Also greased the seat post with carbon paste, can’t remember if the stock version was installed with grease or not.

It’s always the same with new bikes. Patience is the key IMO.

Yes Mine creaked like crazy after i replaced the shock. I added loads of threadlock, it quietened it enough but not 100%. @Trickz said he used carbon paste hopefully his stayed quiet. Just torquing it up will not be enough!
