I have a Wild H30 with the stock RockShox 35 Silver. I’m looking into upgrading the fork to the Fox 38, because I weigh 225 and ride mostly enduro trails. I’m seeing a Black Friday deal for $400 2024 Fox 38 float 170 perf 29 15QRx110 OE. At: Fox Suspension 38 Float 170 Perf 29 15QRx110 - 2024 - OE
Would this be a worthy upgrade, or should I look at the Fox 38 factory?
Is there a noticeable difference with the Fox 38 OE and factory?

If it fit`s to your bike it`t huge upgrade with little money so yes, it`s worth it 👍

Yeah it will be a big difference, the stock Silver TK fork is awful and have no idea why they would spec it on a heavy ebike.

I'd only buy the factory fork if you are comfortable with setting up High and Low speed compression and rebound. Yes, the Factory 38 can be better, but only if you get it set up right, and its marginal gains. This is coming from someone with a 38 factory!

I'd go for the fork you have linked, its easier to understand and adjust if you're new to suspension settings and its also a great fork.

Should be able to upgrade the GRIP damper over time if you wanted too. 3 position compression adjustment & rebound..

they have the 36 on sale too...looks like i might be upping the travel on my RISE sooner than later..

Thanks for the info. Your comment about the factory fork being a marginal upgrade was very helpful and was the deciding factor to go with the OE fork I have linked.

I really like having the option of upgrading at a later date.
Not sure if this was on the site yesterday, but it looks like they are offering another additional 10% discount bringing those forks down to around $360.
