Another newbie here, not new to MTB, been riding MTB since late 80’s but I have my first eMTB on its way, a 2024 Santa Cruz Heckler C R with the EP801 motor. Fingers crossed they’ve ironed out the faults with the Darfon battery connectors and I don’t get the E914 code on my first ride Already planning upgrades after watching a few of the Shimano Auto Shift videos Anyway, I’ll post up some pics when the Heckler rocks up

A couple of shake down rides completed over the weekend, tyre pressures decreased, shock pressures increased, rebound adjusted and e-modes experimented with. The latter being the most mind blowing, getting me back to riding up stuff that nowadays would have me blowing out my arse and having to stop for a breather…
Bring on the weekend, I’m off to a mates in mid-Wales to explore the forest & trails on his doorstep!
