You'll soon realise Velcro isn't up to the job.Post man Pat just delivered this, my old Mudhugger isn’t very good at keeping the mud from my main pivot area and this one fastens with Velcro straps making it easy to remove for washing, I just hope it doesn’t rattle around, I’m testing it out tomorrow with a ride in the Peak District, woohoo

I have a MuckyNutz rear fender that has similar coverage to this, but is less thick and comes in two pieces, and secures with velcro. It's far floppier than my old Mudhugger rear. Was thinking about the new Mudhugger, but this is sad to hear. You'll soon realise Velcro isn't up to the job.

Are there alternative straps you can recommend please mate, apart from the little extra part that covers the main pivot, that’s the other reason I bought this mudguard as it’s easy to remove for washing my bikeYou'll soon realise Velcro isn't up to the job.

Thanks for your reply mate but I’ll have to see how the Velcro straps hold up because that’s the other reason I bought this mudguard, alongside the little extension part that goes down to the main pivot, I thought it’d be easy to remove for washing my bike, if they don’t live up to expectations I’ll have to use your methodI ended up using very big heavy duty tie wraps, over the top of the invisiframe and a couple of loops of electrical tape.
