The smallest Pole ever? Voima K0 as small as possible ;)

How’s the turning radius with a Dorado on a Voima? I have a 40 on mine and I regularly hit the bump stops on tight turns and I imagine it would be worse with the bigger tubes up top. I was considering getting an intend shock and infinity fork, but when I inquired about the distance between the top tubes in the clamps on the fork, the distance on the infinity was 110mm which was 6mm closer closer together than my 40 which would have limited my turning radius even more than it is now. So I had to scrap my plans on the full intend suspension. But it’s ok, because I love my 40 and X2 anyway. I was just curious to try something different.

Honestly I thought it would be an issue but it has been fine. I've been caught out once when I wasn't concentrating and couldn't make a corner but the rest of the time totally fine. Leaning/pushing the bike into the corner away from my body and a little higher corner speed sorts out the turning quite nicely. Mine is the original Voima with the extra wide head tube so if you have the newer model it'll be slightly better.

I think Pole Voima K0 is the smallest bike pole ever made. Probably the smallest long travel eMtb on the markets. This is loooong bike, but the geometry makes it plausable to someone like me, although some shrinking process was necessary...

I finally got everything together:
- 35 mm Stem
- 720 mm handlebar
- Cube saddle, very much in front
- RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil DH with 250 lbs/in coil
- 190 mm Zeb with 30 lbs/in coil
- Magura MT7 brakes
- Shimano trigger
- OneUp 120 mm (OEM)
- Mullet with Deemax wheels (OEM)
- Pepi's inserts and 0,8 bar pressures

With Voima there just wasn't any need for lock-up, so I chose DH shock. HBO adjustment needed customized allen key
Now it fits to OneUp EDC mini's tool holder
And how this beast behaves in trails? This in incredible!

Is there any paticular reason that convinced you not to go with the Intend rear shock?

Yes, I’m sure the shock is great, but I like to have brand matching suspension, so if the intend infinity fork wouldn’t work because of the lack of turning radius, then I won’t run the shock either. I also have to do the same with tires. I just can’t put on two different brands.

Yesterday I was finally able to test ride my second custom setup and I was so happy with it in "rockish" (rocks 10-20 cm high, max. 30 deg. downhill) trail sections. Today I took it to a bike park and just some fine tuning necessary - it was super smooth, stable... the best fork I've ever ridden. The best bike and suspension I've ever ridden.

54 kg rider + RC2 my23 RS SDLU-ULDH coil w/ 250 lbs/in+Linear/Low tune, HBO -1, HSC 0, LSC -2
Fork: Zeb, originally Select 190, my23...
Spring leg: converted to 200 mm coil fork with boxxer x-soft coil and custom built interior parts.
Damper side: custom built from charger 2.1 RC2, custom middle valve shaft, with iD 8 mm shims / proper midvalve, instead of sorry stock iD 7,5 mm'ish 0,35 m float + 0,15 mm "plate" on top of 10 mm base spring. Custom stacks, reduced HSR, significantly increased LSR and HSR damping.

My Zeb seems to be one of the few in kind, bushings don't seem to be any (at least significant) issue.
If You are light, like me, don't hesitate to ask additional info / PM. I'm very willing to help - I definitely know how hard it is to get suspension set up, as I'm, below any weight scales (or at least, empty promises for someone as light as I am).

Voima is a super-bicycle - everything I can't do from now on depends on my skills or lack of will to take risks...

And I'll keep limiting the info inside to those actually need it. It's very rare that any eMtb company even offers a frame + system to any adults 150-160 cm. So any details inside will be shared only with those in pain, with lack of way to find a solution, due to tiny adult measures. This is no way any bisnes for me and there is no bisnes that helps. Many things can be done, excellent ones, These just need deeper understanding on what is essential for small (girl) riders. It's quite far a way from Your 4,5 m drops etc.

Well that was a bit of a random passive aggressiveness. For the record I ask every Voima owner and or any owners of big travel e bike for footage, photos. There is very little big travel e footage out there. I want to see it. It doesn't need to be 4,5m drops. I also want to see the rock gardens and roots basically any offroad riding that is more than cruising a green trail. Riding 20 cm rocks sounded awesome.

For the record I asked you once and it seems a bit odd that you go to extensive detail to improve/adapt your suspension but then don't share that suspension working. It's like helping people with 60% of the info the hiding the rest. I don't think it's narcissistic to complete the suspension improvement thread with video footage of that suspension working for your weight and size.

Also size has nothing to do with skill on an mtb. One of the most skilled guys I know is in your 150-160 range and he absolutely rips.

PS, My wife and 2 daughters and my boy are in your size and weight range. So even though the set up is not applicable to me it is of potential interest for the rest of the family.

I don't have any camera at the moment and I was in a hurry to make this work before bike parks shut down. Now all the trails have many spots with water above hubs, so time is up - next time 5/2024.

But if You just wan't to see what kind of riding / testing terrain we have, this is the best video I have seen. From app. 6:40-9:40 and 10:00-19:00 footage is from exactly same trails I test my suspension / Sappee bike park enduro trails.

Yes, they are, when it's dry and suspensions truly works...
We have mud now, freeze and snow coming up soon, then again mud, and finally come summer (Y)

You're spot on, that wasa kind of horrible race, the scary parts (for me) aren't even shown on those vid's - some up to 50 m long ruts on mud, roots in the between. Still almost 300 started and almost 250 finished

Yeah, I've has a lot of that mud this winter. That's why I burnt the gx drive train in 1200km. Mud, mud and more mud.

It's hard on gear. We will see what the long term effects are on the motor. I'm guessing at some point it will be killed by water/moisture ingress.

Next winter I'll be shelving the e on the really bad days. It's really not a good idea to constantly subject electronic things to moisture.
