Kids out of the house, downsized to a condo, old but not quite dead yet looking to get into EMTB to save my legs! 
Coming off a specalized expert road bike and a Specalized Expert StumpJumper. Still have both with clip in’s…
Paralysis by analysis here looking to make the plunge. Looking at Trek Rail and Specalized Levo … I’ve seen “one” rail, 2021 late model 9.7, fugly black and yellow in my size XL reduced to $5k. Almost zero other Rails available around here. Looked at the Levo in an Expert carbon config that’s a 21 as well but it’s more $…. Consultive sales person suggested the Levo SL but I’m concerned about the smaller battery. In reality, I’ll ride some hills, single and double track, some “scenic parks”, and some bike paths. I’m not likely to do any big 2000 ft climbs (I’m so old I fart dust), so I am really torn on what avenue to go.
