Bosch LED Remote blink 5x Orange, goes off

Hi,

my friend have a Cube with Bosch Smart System. After the latest Update last week the System starts up (Kiox keeps black), the LED Remote blinks 5x orange and goes off.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Tried removing Kiox and battery. Does not help.

Disconnect any device (speedbox) attached to the motor and try to complete the update.

Yes, unfortunately its a trip to the dealer to have this corrected! I had Speedbox 1.0b Tuning kit on mine, which produced this error when performing an update. Removed it, took it to a Trek Dealer, they fixed it and I got a naughty boy slap on the wrist for using a tuning box.

Needless to say, I have not re-installed the Speedbox. The problems it created far outweighed the benefits!

Yes correct! Cause is the SpeedBOX for sure. I make mistake.
I Will go to Bosch Dealer and never use this shit (2 limp mode and now bricked)

Have no doubt that Bosch already has detection of derestriction devices built into the Smart System and will update to defeat any device that finds a way a round that.

How easy was it at the dealer? How long it take etc

I have very good dealer.
Bike enter in bootloader and waiting for firmware (only for drive unit) it cause this situation.
Reflashing with bosch diagnostic take less than 10minutes.
Speedbox work Well, but u need to turn off auto update from Flow application to avoid this situation

This will fix your problem. Prior to making an update disconnect the speed box or any other device.

The orange lights will disappear after disconnecting any device on the motor. The update will be completed.
