@jgusta I’m not sure what to tell you, but stick with it! I spent most of last season on a 160/170 propain tyee, coil rear. Amazing bike! So I was concerned the I wouldn’t get along with the Fuel, but it’s working out well. It sounds like you’ve checked all the boxes, including bar height- these frames have short head tubes.
Maybe try less sag? <30% R is my preference, then adjusting the front to balance. This bike reminds me of an Evil I once had, where you could get the same sag with +/- 10psi, but it rode so much better set up for support...firm, poppy, progressive.
