I have an issue with the mount for the kiox display.
There is a gap at the rear where it should fit flush, leaving a gaping hole for water to go in.

Anyone else have this issue ??

You may have a different model or mount but here’s a pic of mine 0968DEEB-B4A1-49BE-812F-E96A77DBB249.jpeg
My wiring enter’s and exits differently then yours. (Maybe?)
Mine is kept in place by magnets but I have attached a short tether.

Looks like it is fitted wrong to me. I think maybe the part that sits on the top tube is fixed with a screw at the top ( nearest the headtube, but it should be inserted into the hole in the top tube tail first ( I assume there is a lip or sprung clip to hold it in place) then the top secured with the screw.

It could be but there is no lip or sprung clip on the side you are talking about. I can push mine flat against the tube and pull it up even higher and there is no lip.

Tonight I may try take it out and investigate, I believe the issue comes about because the mount is flat and there is the tiniest of bends downwards on the top tube.

Well it will be interesting to see what you find. I made my suggestion based on the way specialized fitted the TCU......ie one screw at the front and a spring clip at the back. If it is the same maybe the spring clip has fallen off. Either way I cannot believe the correct fittig leaves a gap at the back like that. Apart from the risk of water/dust ingress etc, it means it is only fixed at the front and unlikely to withstand a sideways knock in a crash. It quite possibly rattles as well!!

Its a 2mm or 2.5mm allen key and I dont have a straight one long enough to unscrew the top screw. I definitely don't think there is a clip. if you loosened off the top screw it may cover more of the hole at the bottom.

It definitely doesn't rattle currently as its screwed down so tight. I'm personally not bothered by it as I said I never ride in the wet nor wash with a hose.

It's not fitted wrong, it definitely bad design. Most have a lip or spring but this doesn't. Just a flat bit that butt's up to the top tube and that's the issue. When you tighten the bolt it pings out as nothing holds it.

Even a brand new kne5ij the shop is the same.

Have you looked at yours?
