Ordered the XT 11 speed Linkglide drivetrain (shifter, cassette, derailleur and chain)
and the DT Swiss Ratchet LN kit to convert my 3 pawl to ratchet engagement. The ratchet LN kit only comes with 18t, so i also ordered a set of '24t hybrid' ratchets for a big higher engagement.
I think the two (linkglide + ratchet) when combined should make for a very different riding experience.

A few needed mods with 1st Service - SRAM GX AXS, NX Cassette, XX1 Rainbow Chain & Magura HC1 Levers also able to get 60 mins at Leeds Bike Park after. This is my first time with AXS and due to me shifting so much on the E Bike thought best to give a try and so far really happy best upgrade so far.

Installing SRAM AXS upgrade kit, plus repacing (11 speed 11-42) cassette with 12 speed 11-50. Those granny gears will come in handy if a motor malfunction occurs in the back country. Can't imagine trying to get out with a 42 and a 50lb bike, not to mention my fat ass.

I have to say after a first trail ride today that the switch to 12-speed is, along with my Shigura brakes, the best thing I've done to the bike. I'm using less motor and more me on the climbs, which serves to keep me closer to my riding buddies on analog bikes. Also, I can see where this will extend battery life. With the SRAM PG-1230 NX Eagle 12-Speed Cassette, I didn't have to change the hub, and yes it's a 50 and not a 52, but still a BIG improvement from the OE 42. And the AXS shifters help my crappy old man thumb joints. If you are considering this mod, you will have to trim and adjust the chainring guide as the angle of the incoming chain will have increased due to the larger sprocket.

2021 C1 Debonair Air Spring Upgrade Kit Pike/Revelation 2018+ (160mm)

Upgrade my Pike Ultimate forks FS-PIKE-ULT-B4 air spring and increase travel from the current 150mm to 160mm which is the stock fork travel on my 2022 Trek Rail 5.

Just tried it this afternoon, definitely a big upgrade on the previous air spring. Much more supple and soaked up small bumps far better. Quite surprised by the improvement tbh

Pedro's tyre levers (the best) and a spare inner tube. Both of which fit perfectly in my Kriega hydration pack along with a few other things.

Oh and a Bosch motor cap cover because mine fell off, I'll be sticking it on with some nice strong loquid gasket rubber that I found in the garage.

I might also try the Magura green emtb brake pads up front because the race pad (gold is noisy). I already have a set so technically I won't be buying them.

After an epic over the bar moment today on a large rock garden 😏 I managed to bend the chain ring and spider. Bike shop said they have never seen that happen before 😂 I amazingly walked away with minor injuries but flipping a 25KG 29er bike showed me its limits today 😅

A new chain ring and spider is in order and also a dropper that goes the whole way down.

I'll go back to that garden and clear it if its the last thing I do. I need to slow down too. Bike is only 6 weeks old 😂🤦🏽

I’ll be trying out the Ride Concepts’ Wildcats, mainly got them for the winter but they’re cheaper to buy now as they’re reduced

LoamLab Counterpunch. Bloody awesome is tight woodland trails. The bars glance off the trees rather than stopping dead.

To be fair, I did think I was developing arthritis last year when my little finger flared up on the knuckle before remembering I'd whacked it on a tight gate on a manic downhill.😂
