I just ordered my Orbea Rise H15 thru their websites Rider Connect. Delivery is supposed to be by Feb20-22, but I ordered with upgrades….hope that doesn’t delay it too much. I pretty much only ride my Trek Rail 7 in eco, and eMTB lite. Anybody know how big a power difference it will be between the two bikes?

Not sure about the trek, but I used to have my ‘boost’ on my Levo set to 60%. Its very much the same feeling on my Rise M20 now, when in boost - if anything, I feel it gives a bit more. The eco on the rise, with factory settings is very minimal. Trail mode on Shimano (the middle) is probably closer to eco in your trek, but of course it totally depends on your settings.

Was it cheaper than the H10?

Yes. ~$7550 with factory upgrades. Just the SLX vs XT bits and Turbine wheels being the biggest difference I believe. The 10 also have Next R Bars which I already have an extra set. I run those bars on all of my bikes. If I ordered an H10 with the same upgrades it would be ~$8450….and I’d still be swapping out tires, wheels, saddle, etc.

I'm doing something similar with my H15, plus changing the wheels too. I will be a shade heavier than a stock h10 due to the 36 and float x but will have better performance and significantly less cost. I think the h10 is way overpriced.

I’m looking at long shocking it with a DHX2 coil as well.

Oh big changes then. I've got some next sl bars, a funn 35mm stem, a flite carbinio saddle, which are good for 270g, plus the wheels which will save me 570g, and a one up dropper saving 140g, so that's a kilo less than stock h15. Tubeless saves 300g so vs the stock weight of 20.8 should be 19.5! Quite excited and all sensible prices.
