I'm running it and it hasn't been bad. I'm about to maybe switch to a DHX2 coil to see what everyone is raving about.

Cheers, currently got a coil on got the chance to try the mentioned deluxe shock while the coil goes for a service.

Give us a review when done. Interested to hear what you think. The delux has been pretty good for me but I'm still close to pulling the trigger on a coil. My total riding weight is 210 lbs and I'm running 208psi with lots of damping to get is as plush as possible.

If I run higher psi it feels like I'm always getting popped off the seat no matter what damping I use. It's like you can't slow it down enough unless the psi is pretty low.

Will do, I’m also 210lbs kitted up too. My coil is awesome and will take some beating.
I had the same problem with the original reactive thru shaft shock, it seemed to blow through its travel and cause pedal strikes unless I ran a lot of pressure which then made it harsh.

Bomble, what spring rate are you running with the coil? I'm going to start a thread asking for total rider weights and recommended springs.
