Finally got my extender working (long story) went out yesterday and when the extender was depleted the bike kept shutting off. At first it was doing it every 5-10 mins or so. Did this about 10 times. Then it would only stay on for a few seconds. I disconnected the extender cable and put it in my bag and after that no problems at all. Anyone else had this or any idea as to what the issue could be? Cheers

Not had this on mine, when the extender runs out, the bike seamlessly switches over to the bike battery.

Went out Saturday and it did the exact same thing again. Once I'm using the main battery the bike won't stay on unless I disconnect the extender. I could just ignore it as it doesn't really affect my riding but there's clearly an issue with it

Sounds like a bad connection/loose wire to me - if you unplug the extender the bike turns off, so yours is likely doing that over bumps etc. I'd warranty the extender and cable if I were you.

Could be but it's only doing it once the extender is out of charge, up to then it's fine. I'm definitely not ruling it out though as the first extender I got the bike wouldn't recognise it. An Orbea rep tried it on his Rise and and it was the same so I sent it back, the replacement was exactly the same. Started a warranty claim and kept trying it every week. After 2 months it suddenly started working and now it's doing this so there's something amiss

It can be a problem with the bike connector. That would explain both issues.

I also facing same issue. The shop replaced to me but the issue still persist.
After 10 to 15 min switch off by itself.
The extender tested in other bike also same issue.
I’m waiting for 3rd extender to try 😃🤦🏻‍♂️😇
