Hello all,
I was thinking of upgrading the rear shocks on the Levo comp. Just not getting enough out of the stock Fox Rhythm that comes with the bike. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Fox DPX 2 looks promising?

If weight ain't an issue I'd go for a coil spring setup. Coils ride much better air cans. The dpx2 will be much the same as what you got right now.

Any recommendations on a coil spring set up ?

How much have you got to spend?? You'll pay from £400 to £1400. If wanting to stick with fox then the new DHX looks appealing but with an SLS spring will cost you about £800

Thanks for pointing that out. I knew of Cane creek db il but not fox?. Apologies to the Op.

Fox X2 if you can find one .
I have a Levo with an Ohlins and a Kenevo with an X2 . X2 is my preference after riding both .

Yeah that probably the limit. Does it come with a spring too. Thanks for the advise

you"ll have to buy the spring separately according to your weight but in the UK the dhx is £629 and the fox sls spring is £159. You'll also need the correct size bushing for the top eyelet which will be another 20. But as said above fox are not currently recommending their coils for the levo.... which is a shame as I have a levo SL and wanted to get the new 2022 DHX. Just in case you are not familiar with the fox coils, there is the new DHX and also the DHX2 which has more adjustability but not really needed unless your a big jumper.

is the X2 plush like a coil, and does it have much stiction?

Very plush .
But I am comparing the 230 x 65 X2 on a Kenevo to a 205 x 55 on a Levo .[ Both are over stroked compared to stock . ]
Set up to factory spec for my weight the X2 is maybe even more compliant than the coil as the spring on the Ohlins needs to be that bit heavier to prevent bottom out . Such is the progression rate on the Levo . I am interested in a progressive coil to get the best at both ends of the travel . Bit softer off the top and no bottom out off drops to flat .

I’m hearing the newer Fox Float X2 air shock will now fit MY21 Medium Turbo Levo Comp without needing to “over-stroke” the shock. Can someone confirm? Also, is it 205x55? Trunnion?

Found 52.5x210 on the specialized website for spec on MY21. Now my question is about trunnion. Yes or no. Thanks again
