Has anyone tried putting a 29 front end on a 150/160?
Thinking of trying it on my 160rs

Been thinking about doing this for a while as I am fortunate to have an E 150 and a 29er whyte S 150 . So I finally got round to it today.

Forks swapped lyrik 160mm for 29er revolution 150mm tyres are the same on both wheels.
BB raised by 8mm.

The bike had that 29er feel of carrying more speed with less trail chatter which I prefer, if I make it a permanent change I will have a look at the shape it link to get the bb closer to standard but the bb did not feel to high in its current configuration.

Why would you ?…….my E150-RS is great as it is.
Each to their own, would be a boing place if nobody tried anything different

Anyone done this on an E180?. I recently bought a Transition Patrol (mullet format) and find it very good for steep tight trails and really notice a difference when going into big drops, it also seems a lot better at long fast downhill sections and there is not much noticable negative difference on the climbs.
