Hello folks have any of you people had your decoy frame fail? My seat tube today snapped. I was chasing a creak the last few rides. I though it was the usual creaking pivot so cleaned them but it did go away. Guess it was the crack spreading making the noise. Bike was never crashed badly. Such a strange place for it to fail you think it would fail near the seat clamp before where it snapped.

Not seen that before on a Decoy bru. Strange place for a frame fail like you said.

Probably obvious to everyone else; but is that a carbon frame?

Oh man - so sorry to see that. I've had 3 YT bikes, and only once have I managed to crack any part of the carbon - and that was the seat stay on a Capra.

Well got the bike back yesterday. All good new frame of course so . 10 week turn around. YT where ok to deal with and quick enough to respond when I asked for update. Happy enough with outcome. Wrapped the bike last night my god I am terrible at it.

Yeah me too! When I got the Decoy, I took the parts out the box and took them to a place locally as they have a setup with RideWrap.ca. The bike was wrapped for me. They do it all the time, was perfect, and didn't cost too much.
