500w to 625w battery swap help

Afternoon all I’m looking at purchasing a 625 battery and swapping out fir my 500 on my trek 2020 Rail 5. Has anyone done this before and can someone point me in the right direction?

Should of bought it with the bigger battery at time of purchase ? Most LBS will be able to get you one?

You'll need to buy the battery & remove the 500w rib spacer & fit the 625w battery, looks easy. Look in the Trek thread & the diagrams at the top of thread & it'll make sense.

I would buy the face plate and the 625 battery and use the 500 as a range extender and backup.
