anyone know what the max size One Up V2 dropper is you can fit on a the trek rail frame size large?

they used to have a really handy diagram on their site which gave all the dimension but they've now replaced it with a calculator thingy which doesn't give me the info i need.

the 170mm bontrager post that came stock is always slightly in the way at max drop on the down hills for me so hoping i can get a one up 210 and reduce travel to 180/190 and have less of the post sticking out of the frame

I've got a XL rail with a 210mm post & can only just run the post slammed down, will struggle with a large (post slammed) might need the 180mm with shorter insert length.

I was gonna say I've got a 180 ojneup on my L & there's bugger all poking out from the bottom. I'm close to 6ft & the seat doesn't get in the way anymore. I changed from a 130mm though.

Quick update on this, finally managed to catch one up with some stock and a 210 fits fine on a large rail. Running it with about 10mm of post above the seat clamp, but can run it fully slammed

Thanks a lot, i would be interested in seeing a pict of your bike !
Are you happy with your 210mm dropper ? What shifter do you use ?

I did some measurment. 300mm of internal seatpost seems to arrive at a curve in the frame, but it is larger than in the seatmast area, and i can see how a straight line could go up to this. I would not be confortable if the end of the seatpost touch the carbon frame wall at the bottom.

The oneup simulator, tells me i could use a one up 210mm or revive 213mm, instead of my 150mm fox transfer. I use 83cm seatheight with my 165mm cranks (up from my usual 81cm on my regular 180mm cranks...)
