Anyone point me in the direction of a floor stand that fits plus sized tyres.

I've looked all over but drawn a blank. I'm just after something to keep it upright in the garage, not a workstand. I have ones for the normal bikes but they won't fit 2.8 tyres.

Make one. There are a bunch of youtube videos about wooden manual practise racks and it will double as a bike stand.

I just made mine and they work good as a wash stand as well

I just use a cheap rear wheel made originally to click on the quick releases. I use it together with a 8 mm alu axle pushed through the hollow bb of the Brose engine. Cheap and very stable - Pictures say a thousand words: ?

Thanks, I've got racface cranks so not hollow, and I'm not over keen on supporting all that weight on the plastic motor cover under the bike for any great length of time.

May have to just get another like the ones I have and modify it, was just hoping there would be an off the shelf option. Iv seen the wood or pvc ones people have made but after a less "homemade" looking solution. There some for fat bike but that would be too wide and unstable

I just use this sort - mine is for 26" wheels but it works fine on my 27.5

I noticed my local Go Outdoors was selling 29" versions for about £10

I have one of these.

It is great for the small jobs, in fact I hardly use my proper bike stand any more since I purchased this.

You just need to make sure you are on a nice flat surface which you should be in your garage and workshop.

It is just on the odd occasion where I tried to use it out on the trail next to the car on a slope it didnt work too well for obvious reasons...

It is very easy to mount the bike on it. Just line it up with the frame stays and Bobs your uncle ;)

Excuse the state of the bike, I was out on a ride this morning before work and havent had a chance to clean it yet

Good for oiling the chain
Good for checking tyre pressures before a ride
Good for indexing gears
Good for tighening up bolts
Good for bleeding the brakes
Good for replacing the chain
Good for washing and polishing
Good for fitting mudguards
Good for removing the motor (Although you need to remember to loosen the crank arm bolts first as undoing a mega torqued crank arm can flex this stand)

NOT GOOD for sitting on your bike while it is on this stand

My LBS uses these and they work for all kind of bikes. I bought some from him, works excellent for my Kenevo, for my wifes 3" Tyre-Bike and for my other bikes as well (having thinner and smaller tyres).

That looks like it might be the one, unfortunately the chainstays on my bike won't accept that other stand, pitty as it would be ideal

Mondraker crafty, the chainstays are different each side
I am a carpenter so all things wood are good, have you considered a bike work stand, remove the hanging arm and make one out of wood (so it doesn't scratch the bike) and find a place on the frame where the bike can hang.

Here is another option.

This option will only work for certain bikes. You will need to make sure you have a 7.5mm hole in the middle of the bolt that fixes your left crank arm to the motor or purchase a new bolt to replace what you have.

This stand lifts both wheels off the ground
