What bike to get!! Help!!

I’m soon to get my eBike I just need to decide on which one!

I wanted the action team but due to high demand they’ve sold out everywhere!

So now it’s looking like it might a haibike Nduro 8.0 but I’m really not sure about the weight of it? whats your guys take on the weight? Or have any other recommendations instead of the haibike?

What is available at your LBS? See if you can try the bikes out to make sure it fits you. What about the Cube TM then, it also has great components, same geometry and is about 1000 cheaper!

My lbs’s have ran out of CUBE’s so I can’t try them but I had my heart set on one after I had a go on a friends action team and it felt real nice, shame there sold out, might distance buy one online if I can find one!

A local shop has the nduro 8.0 in stock so I’m going to go down on Tuesday and check it out I’ve never seen one in the flesh, all the Review hype of the flyon being super powerful is edging me towards It but I’m worried about it been a big 28kg lump!

Suppose I’m bit worried abo it getting a flyon and then haibike releasing a sub 24kg light weight model in 2021 or another brand releasing a equally powerful motor ie. 120nm action team

not sure you need to overly worry about a few kgs on an EMTB. Unless you are riding at serious level.

I don’t disagree with this for most people, but for older or less strong individuals the extra kilos can make a big difference if you have to lift your bike over a gate or stile.

Agreed. Also any hike-a-bike sections are going to be hard going

Thanks, if the weight shouldn’t won’t be an issue then seems like the haibike will be good For me!

Lifting won’t be an issue, I just want the best bike for around the 5/6k budget with good travel when we go to bike parks and won’t be Too outdated come next years models.

Having to pick up your bike and carry it. Pretty common if you ride off the beaten track.

Great question. All e-mtb's over 38 pounds will strange for the first time and will require over 3 good rides to adapt. Start with finding a good local dealer and brand that all have good service, and replacement parts for the bike you buying for 3-5 years.

I can really recommend buying Locally. Getting parts and good service is more important than ever with ebikes where more can go wrong.
My first eMtb never really worked, and after 4 months and 8 times in for repair, I eventually got my money back. If I had bought online I would have been f...ed!

I thought the point of the Flyon at 28kg and 120Nm was you could ride straight over/through minor inconveniences like gates and stiles....

I’ve put a deposit down on a Whyte rs180 at a loca shop. I spoke to few shops and they all couldn’t praise it enough on a personal level (they are salesman tho)

hopefully I’ve made a the right choice!!

I suspect the bike is capable of doing so. Not quite so sure about me!
Seriously, in my various posts since I got the Alltrail 6 I have lauded the bike with its massive power for my specific requirement but I would not suggest it is the right choice for everyone. And the difference in weight between it and my Hardseven is very noticeable (to me). I have manoeuvred the Hardseven over a deer fence gate; I could not do that with the Alltrail.
