Snapped charging pin in battery

Hi has anyone had a similar experience. Was trying to charge my battery (Trance e+1 2020) when a loud popping sound happened and after looking a bit of one of the charging pins had either melted or snapped in the battery now the battery would power up the bike the terminals on battery were all dry as had took battery of bike the night before after a ride was wondering if this is covered by warrenty as can't get to my local giant Store till Monday any advice/help would be appreciated

Hard to say if its warranty or not. It should be warranty, and Gaint is generally very good.

There is an old thread laying around here somewhere, that is very similar, and the dealer claimed the customer connected it wrong.

Were you charging on or off the bike?
