Newbie status

When will I lose my Newbie status? Is it based on time or something else such as how active I am in the forum?

It normally last about a year.. Then it changes to "Almost newbie".

It wasn't that long ago, but I can't remember when it changes. Maybe at 50 points or something like that ? or was it 5 points ..

OK .. I haven't got a clue. The only change I remember was when I went to "Master" and I commented that if it had been a fishing forum, I'd have been a "Master Bater"..... I live a very empty life...

I must be doing something right as my status has now changed to member after only 4 weeks in the forum!
