This is what I think about when people say the levo is "just" a trail bike ;)

@RebornRider I love Yuka and Eric. I watch pretty much all of the MTB channels haha

I just always laugh when people are worried about a trail bike not handling rowdy stuff now days. Any manufacturer has to assume that someone will take their bike down A line and case a few jumps. Better to over engineer it than to have lawsuits : )

embn are advertising for specialised; you really can't believe any content they have with specialised. It has been like this for a while. Any content they have on specialised is always going to be pro specialised - they are 100% biased now. This is where they probably make most of their money as a youtube channel. Gmbn is associated with embn.

Even better if this is sponsored because you could prove in court that specialized says it’s okay to send huge jumps on the levo ?

I remember seeing a video back in the day with Rat Boy shredding A line on a bronson. Santa Cruz marketing would tell you that you need a nomad or a v10 for that. I also think that increasing your travel is BS. How much more leverage is 20mm longer fork going place on the head tube? Not much.

All mountain, trail and enduro bikes are all super capable it’s just personal preference. Send it! Haha

it is just a trail bike.

This is just a BMX...

20odd years back

Stop going on about "sponsored". A good rider is a good rider and that Levo is't taking any more stress than a low skilled overweight rider doing a little drop on a red graded trail centre feature.

Trail bikes are capableAF these days.

bad haircuts and a leather jacket (30years ago), multiple banged heads, a lifestyle of banging girls, drink and drugs and occasionally being banged up for the night are all I have in common with Jimmy.
No one rides a bike like that dude could. Even today.

haha awesome. Those BMX dudes are fuckn insane. So were the guys that used to do rampage on the shit suspension back in the day. thats sketchy. Modern bikes are making 60ft drops look mellow in comparison. I still have mad respect for gee atherton and cedric for sending some of the shit that they did. Or bender. that guy was gnarly.

Of course they’re sponsered by certain manufacturers for bikes, kit etc that’s how the world works. At least they don’t shove it down your throat, unlike some.
Their sponsors are Canyon and Nukeproof. I think Specialized were a sponsor last year or the year before.

Do you mean gmbn? Chris is riding a specialized - I don't think he'd ride his own bike (one that he paid for); I don't think any of them would.

It would be nice if they were up front about their sponsors so that potential buyers could take embn's brand bias into account. For example, if something failed on the specialized bike, I don't think we'd see it on embn channel. If Chris destroyed 3 levo's in this video we wouldn't know about it.

@urastus haha even sponsors don't hand out bikes like nothing. A lot of racers still have to buy frames and parts. They get deals but free shit isn't easy to come by. 3 levos broken, good one. Stick to riding whatever you want. I love my new levo just like previous 2013 sworks enduro, 2012 demo 8, 2013 sworks demo team edition, 2018 sworks enduro : ) I like their r&d, innovative ideas, looks, FSR suspension, etc. If I was broke maybe I would buy some bikes that are cheaper.

You do know they put a full list of their sponsors in the description below every video, right? With links to each one.

Whilst its frustrating that EMBN/GMBN don't really criticises anything overly, at the same time they have made it clear thats not a route they go down on the channels, and highlight paid for content/promotions.

I find that EMBN/GMBN is a good show, but if you are looking for proper reviews you should look somewhere else.

Any Youtuber that receives money for, as an example, video production costs when making a review video, must also click the "paid content" box when uploading their video.
