I need to change my chainring from 32t to 34t / 36t. I can't find a steel wide narrow chainring, has any one else or have you gone for an alloy replacement? How is the alloy wearing?

thanks in advance

I wore out my stock steel 32 tooth and have an alloy 30 tooth from Praxis on it at the moment. It's wearing fast for me - my LBS thinks I'll be lucky to get 2 months out of it, as does Praxis, and I have to agree.
Praxis has a 36 tooth steel that'll bolt right on
eRING STEEL MTN 1X 104BCD - Praxis Works

For where I ride the 30 tooth is better. I just ordered a Wolf Tooth 30 tooth steel ring. It's pricey but it should last longer

At the moment only one of the planned Praxis eRing’s is available. I shall have to wait until the 34 tooth comes available

I got a 36 Oneup but it didnt came with nuts, any idea how to solve it?

It will be interesting to hear about the rate of wear.
I got a 36t Alu chrainring from Renthal and after 600 km already showing a lot of wear. My best guess is that I will get max 1000 km out of it before it’s worn completely. I’m going back to steel ring for sure.

Many thanks for the information, looks like steel is required - just where from?

This is how my alu chainring looks like after 600 km. As seen in the picture the teeth are getting out of shape and deformed as well.

I ordered the praxis 34 tooth via the LBS this week , in stock , no problem

Not available in STEEL until later this year according to the Praxis Works website, you can get an alloy one. May be the website is incorrect, i shall contact them.
