The Gen 2 CX is remembered by its rebuilder as the most repairable e-bike motor ever made: water kills crank bearings (64 reporters), the gearbox is nearly unkillable, and the error-500 electronics family was the true write-off path. The 2022 CX Race delivered race-mode sharpness and orphaned-flagship anxiety in roughly equal measure.

All lines are out of production: buy on repairability (excellent, Gen 2 especially) rather than parts-counter support.
