EMTB Forums verdict

The Yeti LTe 2025 is Yeti's first full-power eMTB and a carbon enduro flagship built around the new Sixfinity six-bar rear suspension and Bosch CX Gen 5 power. Headline numbers: 170mm fork, 160mm rear, Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 at 120Nm and 750W peak with a 2.8kg motor mass, a removable 800Wh Bosch PowerTube battery, 23.5kg claimed, 64.0 degree head angle and reach 435 to 510mm across twelve size-coded options. Trim ladder: C2 at GBP 8,999, C2 Factory at GBP 9,499 and T4 at GBP 12,999. Community read is enthusiastic: @mtbbiker calls the LTe "the quietest eMTB" after riding Intense Tazer, Gen 2 Levo, Kenevo and Crestline.

Drive system and range. The Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 is the headline. 120Nm of torque, 750W peak and Bosch's PU2.0 firmware. The 800Wh PowerTube battery is removable. @singletrackminded, a heavier rider, reports good results running mtb+ mode with levels at 4 of 5. Real-world range on 800Wh on a 170/160mm enduro is two and a half to three and a half hours of mixed alpine descending. Bosch's Flow app, Kiox 300 display and OTA firmware updates come standard. @shenzi105 weighs a T3 with 800Wh at 51.43lb (23.3kg).

Geometry and handling. 64.0 degrees up front is bang on the modern enduro norm. Reach steps: 435 (S/SM), 465 (M/MD), 485 (L/LG), 510 (XL): Yeti offers multiple sub-sizes per reach band for fit flexibility. Chainstays are a uniform 449mm and wheelbase tops out at 1325mm on XL. The Sixfinity six-bar rear suspension is the engineering signature: @slickrock notes it is a 6-bar design with a Horst Link, distinct from Yeti's analogue Switch Infinity. The bike supports a 3-position progression flip-chip (25/30/35%) and an MX flip-chip option for 27.5in rear wheels.

Build and value. Three trims. C2 (GBP 8,999, 23.5kg): FOX FLOAT 38 Performance, FLOAT X Performance, SRAM Maven Bronze, SRAM Eagle 90 mechanical. C2 Factory (GBP 9,499, 23.3kg): build-dependent Fox suspension and SRAM Maven Bronze/Silver/Ultimate, Eagle 90 to XX AXS. T4 (GBP 12,999, 23.4kg): FOX FLOAT Podium Factory, FLOAT X2 Factory, SRAM Maven Ultimate, SRAM XX Eagle AXS. Standout: Maven brakes at the entry trim, Sixfinity suspension and Vectran-reinforced carbon construction. Questionable: only entry trim hits the GBP 9,000 line; serious step up to T4 flagship pricing.

Community-verified strengths.

  • Class-leading quiet. @mtbbiker rates the LTe as "the quietest eMTB" versus Intense Tazer, Gen 2 Levo, Kenevo and Crestline.
  • Weight reality. @Endorium weighs the carbon LTe at 23kg, and @shenzi105 reports the T3 with 800Wh at 23.3kg.
  • Setup tunability. @singletrackminded on heavier-rider settings shows the bike's mode mapping flexibility for non-average riders.
  • Upgrade paths. @singletrackminded documents Formula Cura 4 brakes as a lighter alternative to Maven, and OneUp mechanical dropper as a lighter alternative to the RS ASX seatpost.

Caveats and known gripes.

  • Twelve size variants is confusing. S, SM, S, M, MD, M, L, LG, L, XL, XL, XL maps to ambiguity rather than clarity; check reach (435 to 510mm) and wheelbase before order.
  • Premium pricing across the range. The T4 at GBP 12,999 sits in S-Works Levo S-Works and YT Decoy Carbon Pro territory.
  • 800Wh integrated, but accessible. The PowerTube is removable but downtube cut-out access requires care to avoid frame paint damage.
  • Sixfinity is new. Six-bar layouts have more bearings and pivots than four-bar Horst Link; long-term service costs may be higher.
  • Bosch CX Gen 5 maturity. The Gen 5 PU2.0 firmware platform is well-mapped but newer than Gen 4; some early production owners reported initial firmware quirks.

Verdict. The 2025 LTe is Yeti's most impressive eMTB launch to date: a carbon Sixfinity six-bar enduro with Bosch CX Gen 5 power, 800Wh removable battery, 23.5kg claimed and twelve size-coded fit options. It suits riders who want Yeti heritage on the most refined Bosch CX platform, who value class-leading quiet, and who can support the premium pricing. Buyers chasing wider AXS Transmission availability at the entry trim, simpler sizing or value-for-money should look at the Specialized Kenevo, Norco Range or YT Decoy Carbon. Production status: current.

“2026 Yeti LTE review Me: 5’9” (175.26cm) 210lbs (95kg) 56yrs old, raced BMX in my younger days, and expert DH until I had kids. The bikes are so good now, I actually feel faster now then in my DH racing days. Sorry for the long review,…”
