Bosch CX-powered alloy MX e-enduro flagship at £5,499 with Fox Factory suspension and SRAM GX AXS T-Type.
The E-180 is Whyte's full-fat alloy gravity eMTB: 180mm Fox or RockShox fork up front, 170mm out back, a Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 motor with the big 750Wh slide-out PowerTube, and MX wheels with DoubleDown-cased Assegais as standard. The tilted-motor, low-slung battery layout is the headline engineering story, pulling the centre of gravity down for bike park and big-mountain duty.
The two 2025 builds are unusually keenly priced. The £5,499 RSX gets Fox Factory 38 and Float X2, SRAM GX AXS T-Type shifting via AXS Pods, Code RSC brakes on 220/200mm rotors and DT Swiss HX1700 wheels, which is a spec many rivals charge well over £7,000 for. The £4,499 S drops to a RockShox ZEB and Super Deluxe Select R with GX AXS Eagle and Code R brakes, but keeps the same frame, motor, 750Wh battery and tyres, so the £1,000 step to the RSX buys suspension and drivetrain rather than anything structural.
Geometry is unapologetically gravity-led: a 63.2 degree head angle (62.7 in the Shape.It low setting), 444mm chainstays across the board and reaches of 455/483/510mm in the three sizes. There is no small frame, and at around 26kg claimed this is a bike specced for descending rather than ferrying itself around mellow trails. The Shape.It flip chip drops the BB a further 8mm for the steepest tracks without altering the kinematics.
