The Lumen eRIDE is Scott's lightweight Cross-Country and Trail e-MTB, built on a Spark-derived carbon chassis with the shock, motor and battery hidden inside the frame. For 2026 the whole range steps up to TQ's new HPR60 motor, lifting peak torque from 50 to 60Nm while keeping the same featherweight system mass, paired with a 360Wh internal battery and an included 160Wh range extender for up to 520Wh. Travel grows to 140mm up front and 130mm out back via the SCOTT TwinLoc-controlled FOX NUDE shock, and the headline 900 SL build comes in around 16kg.
Four builds cover a wide spread. The carbon HMX 900 SL at GBP 12,999 (claimed 16.0kg) is the flagship, with a FOX 36 SL Factory fork, SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission, Motive Ultimate brakes and full-carbon Syncros Silverton SL2 wheels. The 900 (GBP 8,699, 17.0kg) keeps the HMX frame but moves to FOX 36 SL Performance Elite and SRAM GX AXS, the 910 (GBP 7,299, 17.8kg) runs a FOX 34 Rhythm fork with SRAM S1000 AXS and alloy Alex rims, and the 920 (GBP 5,999, 18.5kg) opens the range on a hybrid carbon-front, alloy-rear frame with a RockShox Recon Gold fork and mechanical SRAM Eagle 70.
Geometry is shared across the line and leans modern-trail for an XC-rooted bike: a 65.5 degree head angle (adjustable plus or minus 0.6 degrees through the Acros headset), steep effective seat angles from 76.8 to 77.5 degrees, a consistent 450mm chainstay and a low 338.5mm BB. Reach runs 416 to 501mm across four sizes (S to XL) with wheelbases from 1176 to 1270mm. The combination of sub-19kg builds, full 29in wheels, 140/130mm travel and a discreet mid-power motor positions the Lumen as a down-country-leaning light assist bike rather than a heavy enduro hitter.
