The Rotwild R.X275 is the brand's lightweight, app-controlled "Athletic" eMTB built around the compact TQ HPR50 harmonic-drive motor. With 130 mm of fork travel, 120 mm at the rear via a bearing-free flexstay carbon rear end, and a claimed 15.3 kg in top ULTRA spec, it is pitched at the downcountry-to-trail rider who wants subtle assistance rather than full power. The 252 Wh integrated IPU275 battery is small by class standards, supplemented by an optional range extender that lives in a bottle position.
All three builds share the same carbon frame, TQ motor, 252 Wh battery and Schwalbe Nobby Nic / Wicked Will tyre pairing, so the money buys suspension and drivetrain upgrades. The CORE (EUR 7,990) runs Shimano XT and FOX Performance Elite suspension at a claimed 16.2 kg. The PRO (EUR 8,990) steps up to XTR shifting and braking on the same alloy DT Swiss wheels and Performance Elite suspension. The ULTRA (EUR 9,990) adds FOX Factory Kashima fork and shock, carbon DT Swiss HXC1501 wheels, an e*thirteen Race Carbon crank and Rotwild's one-piece RIC280 carbon cockpit to hit the headline 15.3 kg.
Geometry is consistent and conservative for the category: a 66 degree head angle, 75.5 degree effective seat angle, short 437 mm chainstays across all four sizes and reach from 430 mm (S) to 510 mm (XL) on full 29 inch wheels. That points to an agile, climbing-focused machine rather than a slack descender. Note that Rotwild sells direct in euros and there is no UK GBP RRP; pricing here is the manufacturer EUR figure.
