A solid all-round descender (64.5° head angle, 148mm) — capable in the rough and steep without being an all-out bruiser.
R.E735 2024
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.

The Rotwild R.E735 is the German brand's full-carbon mullet enduro eMTB, sitting under the Enduro category on Rotwild's own product nav where the brand confirms its 'E' designation stands for Enduro. It pairs a 29in front and 27.5in rear wheel with 170 mm up front and 148 mm out back, a slack 64.5 degree head angle and a four-bar linkage with an alloy yoke that allows the short 440 mm chainstays.
Power comes from a Shimano EP801 motor delivering up to 85 Nm, fed by Rotwild's own IPU735 battery: an effective 720 Wh, 21,700-cell pack in a handmade carbon housing with side quick-release, claimed at just 3.5 kg. The two trims share frame and geometry: the Core at 8,490 EUR runs FOX 36 Performance, FOX Float X2 Performance, Magura MT5 brakes and Shimano XT 8100 shifting on Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro wheels (claimed 22.2 kg), while the Ultra at 11,499 EUR upgrades to FOX Factory Kashima suspension, Shimano XT 8120 brakes, e*thirteen Race Carbon finishing kit and Synthesis i9 Carbon wheels (claimed 21.6 kg).
Geometry is consistent across the S to XL range with reach from 420 to 490 mm and an eMTB-typical wheelbase of 1199 to 1282 mm, marking it as a stable, descent-focused enduro machine rather than an all-day trail bike. It is now discontinued and superseded by later R.E735 model years that continue the same lineage in Rotwild's catalogue.
What the numbers mean on the trail
Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.
A fair bit of pop, but happiest on flowing trail rather than trials moves.
Balanced front-to-rear in L (FC:RC 1.85) — weight sits evenly between the wheels.
Climbs well — a 74° seat keeps the front planted. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.
No single standout trait — a balanced, versatile bike.
The numbers are well balanced for its category.
