EMTB Forums verdict

The Propain Sresh CF is the German direct-seller's full-power but lightweight short-travel trail e-bike. A Blend Carbon frame on the twin-link PRO10 platform pairs 150 mm of rear travel with a 160 mm fork, driven by a Shimano EP801 motor (85 Nm, 600 W peak, 2.7 kg) and a 626 Wh battery using newer 21700 cells. Propain claims from 20.8 kg in size M, which is light for a full-power eMTB, and the EP600 alloy-housing motor is offered as a cheaper, slightly heavier alternative.

Like everything from Propain, the Sresh CF is sold through an online configurator rather than as fixed build kits, so the fork, shock, brakes and drivetrain are chosen by the buyer. The base build starts around 5,999 EUR (roughly 5,188 GBP) with a RockShox Lyrik fork and Deluxe R shock, and the price climbs as you spec heavier or higher-end parts. That flexibility is the headline: build it light for long alpine days or robust for park laps and jumps.

Geometry is consistent and modern across all four sizes, with a 65 degree head angle, a 78.5 degree effective seat angle and a 350 mm BB height. Reach runs 430 mm on the S to 505 mm on the XL. A flip chip on the upper PRO10 link lets you run either a full 29in setup or an MX rear wheel on the same frame, so you can tune between rollover stability and added agility.

What the numbers mean on the trail

Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.

Size
Descending
60

A solid all-round descender (65° head angle, 150mm) — capable in the rough and steep without being an all-out bruiser.

Playfulness
58

A fair bit of pop, but happiest on flowing trail rather than trials moves.

Size balance
91

Rear-long with a planted front in L (FC:RC 1.74) — easy to weight the front and quick to turn, though it can feel light at the back at real speed.

Technical climbing
80

Shimano EP801 and a steep 78.5° seat angle keep the weight planted over the front — a proper winch. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.

Best suited toBig-day all-rounders who climb a lot and still descend hard.

Strong up and composed down — a do-it-all, not a specialist.

Watch out forNo major red flags in the L geometry.

The numbers are well balanced for its category.

⚙️ Adjustable geometry: this frame has a high/low setting — low drops the BB and slackens the head angle for more descending stability; high lifts the BB and steepens slightly for clearance and a perkier, more playful feel.
