EMTB Forums verdict

The Pole Voima 2024 is a Finnish CNC-machined and bonded aluminium super-enduro eMTB built around the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 motor and a 190/190 mm symmetrical travel layout. Headline numbers: 85 Nm of torque, 750 Wh removable Bosch PowerTube battery, a 63.5 degree head angle, 26.0 kg claimed and a €6,443 base price. Production status: discontinued.

Drive system and range. The Bosch CX Gen 4 delivers 85 Nm of torque. The 750 Wh PowerTube is removable, generous for the 26 kg chassis. D3xt3rMTB spec'd his K4 build with a 750 Wh main plus "an additional 500 Wh battery included" for a total 1,250 Wh capacity — properly all-day range. The chassis is genuinely heavy at 26 kg claimed, which is the trade-off for the CNC-machined and bonded 7075-T6 aluminium construction.

Geometry and handling. The Voima runs four sizes (K1, K2, K3, K4) with reach progressing from 450 mm to 535 mm. The 63.5 degree head angle is fixed across all sizes, the 455 mm chainstay is shared, and wheelbase grows from 1,283 mm to 1,368 mm. D3xt3rMTB confirms "K4 is largest frame size Pole manufactures, suited for tall riders". This is properly modern super-enduro geometry — long, slack and aggressively gravity-focused. The Sensei dual-link suspension on a 190/190 mm travel platform paired with a 29-inch full setup makes the bike a pure-descender rather than a balanced trail tool.

Build and value. One base trim is on file at €6,443. Zimmerframe details the K2 spec: "CNC Machined 7075-T6 frame, Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 750 Wh PowerTube, RockShox Zeb Select 190 mm fork, SDG Tellis 170 mm dropper, Maxxis Assegai 2.5 front and DHR II 2.4 rear (DD 3C MaxxGrip)". D3xt3rMTB spec'd "Lewis LHT Ultimate brakes... Race axles fitted to stiffen up rear of bike (vs standard axles)".

Community-verified strengths. First, race-bred long, slack geometry: 63.5 degrees HA and 535 mm max reach are properly aggressive. Second, drivetrain reliability: High Rock Ruti reports the "Shimano Di2 derailleur on Pole Voima has required zero adjustment over 2,500+ miles, far better reliability than SRAM AXS".

Caveats and known gripes. First, frame durability concerns: Plummet reports "welding a cracked Pole Voima swingarm is not feasible — welding destroys heat treatment, requiring normalising and re-heat-treating which would damage bonding glue. The original stress riser failure point would just fail again" — sobering for buyers planning long-term ownership. Second, segment competitiveness: Plummet reports the "Santa Cruz Crestline is faster than Pole Voima on Strava segments — user beat all previous Voima times". Third, weight: 26 kg is significantly heavier than carbon rivals. Fourth, discontinued status limits parts and warranty support going forward.

Verdict. The Pole Voima 2024 suits buyers who specifically want the long, slack, 190/190 mm CNC-machined Finnish aluminium chassis with the Bosch CX Gen 4 motor and the option of dual-battery 1,250 Wh capacity, and who value direct-from-Finland boutique provenance. Less suitable for buyers who prioritise carbon weight reduction, long-term frame-warranty backing (given the welding-not-feasible repair pathway), or major-brand UK dealer support. Production status: discontinued.
