Wild 2023

The all-new 2023 Orbea Wild is the Spanish brand's full-power enduro e-MTB, and a complete ground-up redesign that replaced the older Wild FS. It runs 160 mm of rear travel from a linkage-driven single pivot with a concentric CB2 rear-axle pivot, paired to a 160 mm fork as standard (170 mm on the flagship), on full 29in wheels. Power comes from the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 Smart System at 85 Nm, fed by a Bosch PowerTube battery of 750 Wh on most trims or 625 Wh on the lightest builds, with the System Controller neatly integrated into the top tube.

Orbea split the range into a carbon OMR M-series and an aluminium Hydro H-series, all configurable through the MyO programme. UK pricing ran from the alloy H30 at 5,299 GBP up through the H20, H10, carbon M20, M10 and M-Team, to the M-LTD at 10,999 GBP. The M-LTD is the standout: a Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor with its exclusive Race mode, a 170 mm Fox 38 Factory fork, Float X2 shock, Shimano XTR throughout and OQUO carbon wheels, with a claimed weight around 22.6 kg for a size large.

The geometry borrows heavily from Orbea's Rallon enduro bike: a slack 64 degree head angle, a steep 77.5 degree seat angle, a short 448 mm chainstay fixed across all four sizes, and reach growing from 435 mm on the S to 505 mm on the XL. Compared with the outgoing Wild FS the reach grew 25 mm and the wheelbase about 45 mm, giving a longer, lower and more descent-focused machine that still keeps the front wheel weighted on steep climbs.

This 2023 model is discontinued, later superseded by updated Wild generations. As a fully integrated, removable-battery full-power enduro bike spanning a broad alloy-to-carbon price ladder, it remains a strong used option for riders who want a 29er e-enduro that handles like its analogue Rallon sibling.
