Level 2026
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.
Entry-level alloy Level with Bosch CX Gen 5, 800Wh battery, RockShox ZEB Select fork and Vivid Coil shock.

The Mondraker Level 2026 is an aluminium long-travel full-power eMTB built around Bosch's latest Gen 5 motor system and a 180/170 mm mullet chassis, sitting firmly in the gravity-leaning end of the e-enduro segment. Headline numbers: 180 mm front / 170 mm rear travel, 800 Wh Bosch removable battery, a 64.0 degree head angle, 27.1 kg claimed and a £5,999 base price. The community read on the platform is broadly positive on geometry and motor pairing, with the usual Mondraker Level alloy notes on a few minor quality-control items.
Drive system and range. The Level 2026 is built around the Bosch Smart System (Gen 5 architecture) with the 800 Wh PowerTube battery. jar2b confirms the spec: "180/170mm travel with MX wheels, e*13 components, Zeb Select fork, Vivid Coil Base shock, Maven Bronze brakes, Bosch Gen5 800Wh battery, SRAM Eagle 90 drivetrain". The 800 Wh capacity is class-leading for full-power enduro, supporting four to five hours of hard riding on the 27 kg platform. jar2b also notes the "Mondraker Level 2026 has same weight as Reign E+ but more range and more power with Bosch motor" — a useful direct comparison against the Giant rival.
Geometry and handling. The bike runs five sizes (SM, MD, MD/LG, LG, XL) with reach progressing from 440 mm (SM) up to 520 mm (XL) — the headline number is the XL reach, properly long for tall riders. The 64.0 degree head angle is fixed across the range. The chainstay grows from 445 mm to 455 mm across sizes (size-specific tuning), and wheelbase stretches from 1,236 mm to 1,343 mm. Mondraker's Forward Geometry philosophy and the Updated Zero Suspension System sit at the heart of the chassis. Vanquisher notes earlier Level RR 2021 medium had "470mm reach, 1270mm wheelbase — considerably longer than typical mainstream Medium sizing", confirming Mondraker's commitment to long-reach geometry. ntm95 compares the Crafty large frame as having "geometry front/rear ratio superior to Level, making it more popular with gravity-oriented riders" — useful context if you are choosing between Mondraker's two e-enduro platforms.
Build and value. Three trims (R, RR, XR) ladder upwards from the £5,999 R base. The R is specced with the RockShox ZEB Select fork, Vivid Coil shock, Maven Bronze brakes, SRAM Eagle 90 drivetrain and an 800 Wh Bosch battery. Zimmerframe notes the Level R has been discounted as low as £3,699 historically, suggesting strong dealer availability and price flexibility.
Community-verified strengths. First, range and power balance: jar2b rates the Level as offering same weight as the Reign E+ but with more range and more power. Second, long-reach Forward Geometry confirmed by Vanquisher. Third, the comprehensive Bosch ecosystem behind the motor.
Caveats and known gripes. First, crank lockring durability: Dr. Ergal reports his "crank lockring became loose after 35 km of riding on a brand new bike", later fixed by re-tightening with medium loctite. Second, speed-sensor electrical issues on Bosch Smart System Level: pedalered reports a speed-sensor error that recurred after charging and required service intervention. Third, the Crafty platform may be better suited for gravity-focused riders per ntm95.
Verdict. The Mondraker Level 2026 suits riders who want long Forward Geometry, the latest Bosch CX Gen 5 motor with 800 Wh battery, and a 180/170 mm e-enduro chassis at a price that the carbon competition cannot match. Less suitable for buyers chasing the lightest possible weight or the slackest gravity geometry. Production status: current.
