The 2024 Mondraker Crusher was the reborn, Shimano-powered version of Mondraker's enduro e-MTB, slotting between the lightweight Neat and the longer-travel Crafty. It pairs a Stealth Air Carbon front triangle with a Stealth Alloy rear end and Mondraker's Zero Suspension System for 150mm of rear travel, matched to a 160mm fork on full 29in wheels. Power comes from a Shimano EP801 motor (85Nm) fed by an integrated, non-removable Simplo 720Wh battery with a Shimano EN600 display.
It built on Mondraker's Forward Geometry, so reach is long (450 to 510mm across S to XL) and the supplied stem is a short 30mm, with a 65 degree head angle, 77 degree effective seat angle and consistent 455mm chainstays. Three builds were offered in the UK: the Crusher at 6,299 GBP (Fox 38 Float and Float-X Performance, SRAM DB8 brakes, SRAM GX/NX Eagle), the Crusher R at 7,499 GBP (Ohlins RXF 38 fork and TTX Air shock, SRAM Code Bronze brakes, SRAM X01 Eagle) and the flagship Crusher RR at 8,799 GBP (Ohlins suspension, Shimano XT Di2 with Free Shift, Mavic E-Deemax S wheels). Claimed weights ran from 24.6kg on the base bike down to 23.4kg on the RR.
This is a discontinued model year. Mondraker has since refreshed the Crusher, so the live product pages now show a newer bike, and the 2024 versions are only found on the used and clearance market. Buyers should note the battery is internal and not removable, which affects charging and storage logistics.
What the numbers mean on the trail

More planted than poppy — better on steep terrain than tight, fiddly singletrack.
Rear-long with a planted front in L (FC:RC 1.78) — easy to weight the front and quick to turn, though it can feel light at the back at real speed.
Shimano EP801 and a steep 77° seat angle keep the weight planted over the front — a proper winch. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.
Strong up and composed down — a do-it-all, not a specialist.
Brilliant on fast, rough, steep terrain; less fun on tight, mellow trails.
