The 2024 Mondraker Chaser is an aluminium all-mountain eMTB built around the Bosch Performance Line CX (Gen 4, Smart System) motor with up to 85Nm and an internal Bosch PowerTube battery, in a 6061 Stealth Evo frame using Mondraker's Zero Suspension System and signature Forward Geometry. All sizes share a slack 65.5 degree head angle, a steep 76 degree effective seat angle, long 455mm chainstays and notably long reach for the size (450mm on the S rising to 510mm on the XL), spread across four sizes from S to XL on full 29in wheels.
The range splits into a genuine trail build and two crossover builds. The Chaser R is the pick for off-road riding: 160mm Fox 36 Rhythm fork, 150mm of rear travel through a Fox Float EVOL Performance shock, a 750Wh battery, Mavic E-Deemax wheels, Maxxis Rekon 2.6 tyres, SRAM GX Eagle and an Onoff Pija dropper, with a claimed 24.9kg. The Chaser RX (140mm rear, RockShox 35 Silver fork, 750Wh, Kiox 500 display) and Chaser X (140mm rear, RockShox Recon fork, 625Wh removable battery, rigid Onoff seatpost) are urban-cross oriented, shipping with lights, mudguards, a rear rack and a kickstand and rolling on faster Maxxis Ikon 2.6 tyres, both at a claimed 26.5kg.
This was a 2024 model and is now discontinued, so it is found at heavy clearance discounts. Mondraker's recommended retail prices were around 5,999 euros for the Chaser R and RX and 4,999 euros for the Chaser X; UK pricing was thinner, with the RX listed at an RRP of 5,220 pounds. Note that the brakes are SRAM DB8 four-piston with 200mm rotors front and rear across every trim, and the all-alloy frame keeps weights on the heavier side for the category.

More planted than poppy — better on steep terrain than tight, fiddly singletrack.
