The Reason Air is the shorter-travel, trail-focused sibling in Megamo's Avinox-powered Reason line. With 140mm of travel front and rear, a full 800 Wh DJI Avinox battery and the M1 motor rated at 120Nm and 1000W in Boost, it pairs serious power and range with a comparatively light chassis, available in either alloy or full carbon.
The trim spread is wide. The alloy AL 15 at GBP 4,999 leans on a Fox 34 AWL fork, Fox Float Rhythm shock, Shimano XT four-piston brakes on 203mm rotors and a mixed XT shifting/Deore cassette package on alloy wheels. At the top, the carbon CRB 00 at GBP 11,999 steps up to a Fox 36 Factory fork, Float Factory Kashima shock, SRAM XX Eagle Transmission AXS, XTR brakes and DT Swiss carbon wheels. That is a large jump, so most riders chasing value will find the alloy builds the sensible entry point into the platform.
Geometry is adjustable through a flip chip that shifts the head angle between roughly 64.3 and 64.5 degrees and the seat angle between 77.8 and 78 degrees. Reach runs from 451mm on the small to 509mm on the large in the low setting, with a 1265mm wheelbase and 454mm chainstays on the medium. The numbers read as a balanced modern trail bike rather than an outright enduro rig, which suits its 140mm intent.
