The MAXX Tourmaxx ELS Sport is a German-built, made-to-order alloy allmountain eMTB running 130mm of travel front and rear on 29in wheels. MAXX is a direct-sales custom builder from Rosenheim, so rather than fixed trims the bike is configured to order, with a choice between the Shimano EP600 and EP801 motors (both rated 85Nm and compatible with Shimano AUTO and FREE SHIFT). The frame uses MAXX's Octatube eight-sided down tube in 6061-T6 alloy and carries a removable 720Wh down-tube battery.Because the bike is built through the configurator there is a single base specification rather than priced trims. That base build leans on dependable, serviceable Shimano kit: an XT Linkglide 11-speed drivetrain with an 11-50T cassette, four-piston Deore brakes on a 203/180mm rotor pairing, and a RockShox Psylo Gold RC fork matched to a Fox Float X TR shock.
